Cobra Hires New VP Sales

Chicago — Cobra Electronics announced it has hired Jim Croke for the position of VP of US sales.

Croke was formerly VP of sales at Hedstrom Corp, a $400 million recreational, toy and sporting goods company and also lead a manufacturer’s rep firm for 13 years.He started his career at Atari.

Cobra senior VP of marketing and sales Tony Mirabelli said “Jim brings to Cobra more than two decades of experience in consumer products, retail and marketing.His strong sales background with virtually every type of retailer in the market will undoubtedly make huge contributions to Cobra’s sales operations.”

Cobra said it expanded its sales team because of its move into GPS and because its radar detector sales are growing. Tony Mirabelli remains senior VP of marketing and sales.
