Circuit City Names Gen. Counsel

Richmond, Va. - Circuit City Stores reports that Reginald D. Hedgebeth is joining the company as senior VP and general counsel effective July 11.

Hedgebeth, 37, joins Circuit City from The Home Depot where he served most recently as legal VP. At The Home Depot, he managed a team of attorneys that supported retail stores, distribution facilities, non-retail affiliates, call centers and various corporate departments including procurement, finance and treasury, construction, maintenance and energy management, store operations, merchandising and global supply chain.

Hedgebeth also supported The Home Depot's international divisions in Canada, Mexico and China.Prior to working at The Home Depot, he was an associate at King and Spalding, LLP and was a financial analyst for GE Capital Corporation based in Atlanta.
