CES 2012 iLounge Sells Out In 2 Hours: CEA

Arlington, Va. – The
Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that the 2012 International
CES iLounge Pavilion sold out in less than two hours during CES exhibitor space
selection.

The iLounge Pavilion,
which is sponsored by iLounge.com, features 50,000 net square feet of exhibit
space that showcases accessories and software for Apple’s iPad, iPhone, iPod
and Mac platforms. Due to its popularity, the amount of space will increase,
although a specific amount was not given.

Next year’s CES will be
held in Las Vegas from Jan. 10-13.

“The iLounge Pavilion is
experiencing unparalleled success and has undoubtedly established itself as the
center of the ‘i’ Universe,” said Karen Chupka, events and conferences senior
VP, CEA. “Exhibitors made their intentions loud and clear in purchasing more
iLounge space in two hours of space selection than ever before. It’s evident
that there is strong industry demand for a showcase of these popular products
at the International CES, and space for the iLounge Pavilion will increase as a
result.”

The 2011 iLounge
Pavilion featured more than 200 exhibitors across 50,000 net square feet.

As TWICE reported during the show

,
exhibitors such as Speck, Sphero, Etymotic Research and Griffin Technology
highlighted the latest additions to the burgeoning category.
