CEMA Will Form Mobile IT Division

CEMA's Mobile Electronics Division voted during the industry group's Spring Conference, held March 29-31 in Washington, D.C., to create a Mobile IT (information technology) subdivision or "working group."

This new subdivision will address issues related to emerging technologies in the 12-volt industry, CEMA's communications manager Matt Swanston detailed.

"It will cover topics like navigation, GPS and DVD," he said. No firm dates have been set for when the new division will be launched.n
