Arlington, Va. – The Consumer
Electronics Association (CEA) today announced the inaugural CEA TechHome
Mediterraneo (THM) 50, an exclusive member list featuring the top 50 home
technology integrators and installers in Italy.
These top residential systems
integrators will convene at the inaugural CEA TechHome Mediterraneo (THM)
Summit scheduled Oct. 3-5, in Stresa, Italy.
“The inaugural CEA THM 50 list of
top integrators and installers features the key companies and market leaders
driving the Italian home technology industry forward,” said Gary Shapiro,
president/CEO, CEA.
He added, “Bringing these leaders
together for the CEA THM Summit this fall, which will coincide with CEA’s CEO
Summit, will facilitate important business connections to create further growth
in this dynamic industry.”
The inaugural CEA THM 50 list was
determined by evaluating multiple business characteristics including
installation revenues, company growth, total number of installations and number
of multi-system installations. The list, which has been in development over the
past year, includes integrators and installers throughout Italy, including
Milan, Rome and Naples.

market is ready to emerge as a leading global player, and by identifying these

The Italian home technology
industry has shown very similar signs to the American custom electronics
industry, with a number of companies doing work but in need of a unifying force
to bring them all together.
