12/06/2010 09:52:03 AM Eastern

Arlington, Va. - The
Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) said that individuals who buy one CEA
Tech Enthusiast membership at the regular price of $49 will receive a second
membership for free.

This promotion will run
for a limited time.

CEA Tech Enthusiast
membership provides VIP access to the technology industry, CEA said, including
insider information, beta testing and product pre-lease opportunities, access
to exclusive events, and special discounts on tech products.

The offer can be
redeemed at http://ceatechenthusiast.com/buy-one-gift-one.

"Fervent tech supporters
are constantly looking for insider industry information and for ways to get the
next great technology product before anyone else," said Jason Oxman, industry
affairs senior VP, CEA. "CEA Tech Enthusiast Membership is an ideal gift for
these individuals, offering them the unique opportunity to gain insider access
to the latest industry happenings -- a benefit previously reserved for CEA
member companies -- while also helping them save year round on products from
their favorite brands."

Since launching on Nov. 9, more than
three dozen CEA member companies have partnered with CEA to offer Tech
Enthusiasts insider benefits. The newest member companies include the
following:

Panasonic: Discounts
across the Panasonic product portfolio via an exclusive, members-only website

Crutchfield: $20 off of
a $100 purchase at Crutchfield.com

WhiteHatt: Early access
to WhiteHatt's integrated home entertainment component that combines Internet
TV, Blu-ray, DVD and broadcast TV in a single, stylish set-top box.
