CEA Moving To New Headquarters

Arlington, Va. — The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) will move its headquarters on June 4 to a new location at 1919 S. Eads St. in the Crystal City section here.

“This is more than a new home for CEA. The building reflects CEA’s growth, the industry’s excitement and our optimism about the future,” said Gary Shapiro, CEA’s president/CEO in a release.

According to the CEA, all of its staff members will be moving to the new building but their phone numbers and fax numbers will remain the same.

CEA plans to shut down at 4 p.m. EST on Thursday, May 31, to facilitate the move. The CEA and CES Web sites will be unavailable during the move, as will all of the organization’s computer, email and voice systems. The main telephone line, (866) 858-1555, will remain open and messages will be taken for the staff as needed. All systems and operations are expected to be restored and resumed by 9 a.m. on June 5.
