Capitol’s Kussard Honored By CEDIA

Eagan, Minn.
– Jeff Kussard, Capitol’s strategic development director and longtime custom-installation
industry veteran, received three citations for his years of outstanding
contributions to the custom installation industry.

Kussard was
honored at the recent 2009 CEDIA Expo Electronic Lifestyles awards banquet,
which is held every year on the final night of the CEDIA Expo.

“Jeff has offered
a tremendous amount of time and dedication to CEDIA and the industry,” said Ken
Erdmann, CEDIA chairman. “Without volunteers like Jeff, CEDIA wouldn’t be
what it is today.”

Kussard was among
the first group of association leaders to be named as CEDIA Fellows, honored
for efforts that have contributed significantly to the association’s success.
Additionally, Kussard was cited as one of the Top 10 CEDIA instructors over the
past 20 years, as well as for his work as the chair of the Volunteer
Development Action Team.

“Jeff’s honors are
well deserved and by no means a surprise,” commented Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president
and chief financial officer. “Long before he joined the team, Jeff was a good
friend and trusted industry colleague. Whenever I need input on any number of
matters affecting Capitol’s customers, I can always count on Jeff to offer
advice that it is practical and just plain common sense, and I’ve heard similar
accounts from everybody who has had the good fortune to know him.”
