Capitol Signs Deals With D-Tools, Panasonic

Orlando, Fla. – Capitol Sales announced a deal with system integrator D-Tools to distribute its SI5 Estimator software and with Panasonic to distribute its TV and accessories to the hospitality market.

Both were announced this week during the EHX Spring 2009 show, here.
Under the terms of the agreement with D-Tools Capitol Sales will be responsible for the sale and distribution of D-Tools System Integrator Estimator software throughout North America, providing detailed product line information to make it easier for users to generate fast, accurate proposals for their client engagements.

D-Tools System Integrator software enables systems integrators and custom installation professionals to create detailed projects managed with automated proposals, scheduling, pick lists, purchase orders, drawings and additional documents that streamline the integrated installation of audio and video products, the companies said.

By using a single, shared project file, system integrators and custom installers can download free product information from D-Tools’ database of products and their accessories, giving them the advantage of designing systems using the most current product information, while saving hours of product research time, Capitol said.

With Panasonic, Capitol will offer plasma and LCD TV solutions as a way for hotels, motels, inns, spas, convalescent homes and other hospitality centers to increase business through products such as HDTV, the distributor said.

In addition to getting new customers and retaining existing ones, the Panasonic sets also provide hospitality centers with cost savings, thanks to easy customization through plug-in boards, and out-of-the-box compatibility with the LodgeNet software for the hospitality industry, Capitol said.

Capitol will offer three Panasonic hospitality HDTV models. Both the 42-inch TH42PR11UK and 37-inch TH37PR11UK models are plasma TVs, while the 32-inch TH32LR11UK is an LCD model.
