Lake Success, N.Y. — Canon added a new compact photo printer, a pair of high-end lenses and new waterproof housings for its HD camcorders to its lineup this month.

Canon will ship a pair of tilt-shift lenses, the TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II ($2,199) and the TS-E 17mm f/4L ($2,499), in May.

The L-series lenses are geared for landscape and architectural photography, Canon said. Both will feature a new TS revolving system, which lets tilting and shifting lens movements be adjusted in parallel or at right angles

to each other, the company said. The lenses incorporate aspherical and UD glass elements with a new SubWavelength structure coating to help minimize flare and ghosting, Canon said.

The Selphy CP780 printer will feature improved portrait image optimization technology and a faster engine, capable of producing a 4-inch by 6-inch dye-sub print in 47 seconds, the company said. It can accept images via card slots or USB and features a 2.5-inch LCD. It will work with an optional battery pack for printing on the road (the NB-CP2L, $79) and a Bluetooth adapter (BU-30, $49).

The Selphy CP780 will be sold in silver, blue and pink for $99.

Finally, Canon will outfit its Vixia HF20 and HF200 HD camcorders with a new waterproof housing accessory. The WP-VI casing allows the camcorders to dive to a depth of 130 feet. It is due in May for $599.
