Bulla Leads MECP

Arlington, Va. — The Consumer Electronics Association has chosen Kris Bulla as chairman of its Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) committee.

Bulla is president of ProTeam Services, a subsidiary of InstallerNet, and he replaces Bob Fields, who chaired the MECP committee for 13 years. Fields is also mobile electronics VP for InstallerNet.

Bulla has been a member of the MECP committee for nine years and is a master-level installer.

The MECP is in charge of training car stereo installers. Its training and certification program has certified more than 35,000 installers since it launched in 1991.
