Browder Of Bowers & Wilkins To Retire

North Reading, Mass. – Chris
Browder, executive VP of Bowers & Wilkins North America for the past 25
years, will retire at the end of the year, the company announced.

Browder’s career in audio goes back 35 years,
having been with a/d/s in the late 1970s and early 1980s before joining Bowers
& Wilkins in 1986.

B&W Group chairman Joe Atkins
lauded Browder’s “instinct for defining audio products that met current market
demands.” Browder, he added, “has had a profound impact on the evolution of our
expanding product portfolio, while directing the sensitive distribution
decisions in North America that were made in parallel with the brand’s growth.”

The premium home speaker company,
based in the U.K, was founded in 1966.
