Los Angeles — Brand Source CEO Bob Lawrence was honored for his philanthropic efforts and professional achievements at a City of Hope charity tournament here earlier this month.
More than 500 guests attended a tribute dinner for Lawrence during the 17th annual West Coast Golf and Tennis Tournament at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club, where he received a Lifetime Achievement award.
The tournament and dinner raised $550,000 for City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $4.5 million for the institution.
“This recognition is both humbling and inspiring,” said Lawrence of his award. “But seeing our industry continue its longstanding support of City of Hope’s efforts to move discoveries quickly into better treatments is truly remarkable. I’m proud to be a part of our ongoing commitment to bring hope to cancer patients everywhere.”
