Brand Source, NARDA, United Servicers To Hold Regional Training Seminars

Anaheim, Calif. — Brand Source Service, a division of Brand Source, has announced a national rotation of business management and technical training seminars in association with North American Retail Dealers Association (NARDA) and United Servicers Association (USA).

Brand Source Service is designed to bring profitability to the independent service dealer through training, education and a national service network. The sessions will begin in early October and will run through 2008.

Don Frank Sr., owner of L.H. Brubaker Appliance in Lancaster, Pa., and a Brand Source Service, NARDA and USA member, commented. “These three organizations have come together to provide my company and our industry with valuable and much needed training in many key areas. This is a measurable benefit that brings more profitability to our service department.”

Business management training will be provided by select members of USA’s faculty of speakers. Technical training will be provided on select products of the Whirlpool family of brands, as well as Fisher & Paykel and Samsung.

Non-Brand Source Service members will be admitted for a fee, refundable upon joining Brand Source Service, NARDA and USA.

Seminar dates and locations and additional sponsors will be announced soon and will be included in an updated release.

Brand Source is holding its annual summer convention in Las Vegas this week and has more than 3500 members throughout the United States and Canada with in excess of 7000 storefronts. The company’s Web site. NARDA, headquartered in Glenview, Ill., represent more than 3,500 storefronts and account for $11 billion in annual sales.

USA is a North American service trade association formed by servicers for servicers in 1992.
