Heights, Ill. - Bang & Olufsen will officially open a new showroom in
Hallandale Beach, Fla., in the Village of Gulfstream Park, on Thursday, March
1,470-square-foot showroom will provide the complete Bang & Olufsen product
portfolio in addition to personalized custom-installation capabilities for both
commercial and residential properties, the company said.
"Bang & Olufsen Gulfstream is currently our third
store in Florida
and it represents our strong and growing presence in the South
Florida market, said Zean Nielsen, president
of Bang & Olufsen America.
"With an amazing product portfolio, expert sales force,
highly experienced custom installers, and beautiful new showroom location, we
are eager to provide the Bang & Olufsen experience to music lovers, design
enthusiasts, and South
Florida residents and visitors," said Robert Melnick,
co-owner of Bang & Olufsen Gulfstream.
The showroom will also present some new, products launched
this fiscal year. They include the BeoSound 8, Bang & Olufsen's first iPad/iPod/iPhone
docking station, known for its sonic performance (covers low bass tones down to
38 Hz and higher frequencies 24,000 Hz), compact form and distinct design. It
is also one of the few docking stations on the market that is directly
compatible with the iPad, without having to use additional wires or adapters,
the company said.
The BeoVision 10 LED television family, now available in 32-inch,
40-inch and 46-inch versions, will also be available. The BeoVision 10
portfolio features the latest LED and picture-improvement technologies, a
double-sided anti-reflective-coated contrast screen, five placement options, an
active two-way loudspeaker system, and a frameless design resulting in optimal
picture and sound performance with a floating glass appearance.
A grand-opening customer event will be held on March
24 starting at 7 p.m.
