Minneapolis – Best Buy is kicking off the Super Bowl
promotional period with steep discounts on 60-inch, 70-inch and 80-inch 1080p
LCD-LED TVs by Sharp.
The sale, which runs through Jan. 28, includes Sharp’s
60LE300 for $999, regularly $1,700; the 70LE632 smart TV, for $1999, regularly
$2,800; and the 80LE832U smart TV, available online for $5,000 and in select
Magnolia Home Theater stand-alone stores.
The TVs qualify for free delivery and, under Best Buy’s
“perfect match promise” program, free return pickup, 60-day price-drop protection
and three-year interest-free financing.
Elsewhere, hhgregg’s Super Bowl offerings include a 51-inch
720p Samsung plasma (model PN51D450) for $600, and a 60-inch 1080p Panasonic
plasma TV (model TCP60S30) for $1,110, and 12- and 24-month interest-free
financing.
Meanwhile, Costco, like Best Buy, has broken the $1,000
barrier for 60-inch displays by selling the Panasonic model for $999.
The Super Bowl will be played on Feb. 5 between the New York Giants and New England Patriots.
