Best Buy Launches 2 Insignia HD Radios

Minneapolis — Best Buy has begun offering two new HD Radio-equipped products under its Insignia house brand.

The Insignia NS-HD3113 micro system at a suggested $199 features CD/DVD player, embedded iPod dock and iTunes tagging. The NS-HDTUNE is a component-style HD Radio tuner at a suggested $149. Both are available in Best Buy’s stores and online store.

The micro system features MP3/WMA-CD playback, progressive-scan DVD output, two-way speakers with 4-inch woofers, 2×15-watt RMS amp output, 30 station presets, and compatibility with the iPod Mini, iPod Photo, iPod Classic and iPod Nano models. Outputs include component-video and coaxial and optical digital-audio outputs.

The component tuner features large LCD display, 16 FM/8 AM presets, optical and coaxial digital outputs, and remote.
