– Best Buy has expanded its exclusive Next Class line that is designed for and
by college students.
The Next Class models, which are built in partnership with
Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Sony and Toshiba, were designed using the input from
college students. In response to their input, the Next class models all have
three to six hours of battery life, weigh 5 to 6 pounds, come pre-loaded with
Microsoft Office Home and Student software and have at least 12 months of
anti-virus protection.
The notebooks range in price from $649 to $799 and are available
at Best Buy locations and www.bestbuy.com.
The four PC vendors each developed a model for Best Buy based on
