Belden Bows New Initiative, Master Catalog

New York — Belden, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of signal transmission products for data networking, announced the launch of an initiative that unifies its corporate identity with its flagship brand: Belden.

To reflect the company's expanded product position as a supplier of signal transmission solutions, Belden also introduces a new brand line: “Belden — Sending All the Right Signals.”

The company is also issuing the 2006 edition of the Belden master catalog in print and at www.belden.com. The 2006 master catalog incorporates new product/system solutions, including data network connectivity, structured cabling systems and services, enclosures and racks, surface raceway systems, cable management accessories and Power-over-Ethernet systems, according to the company.

John Stroup, president/CEO of Belden, said in a release, “Extensive market research confirms that the Belden brand is one of our most powerful assets. ‘Belden’ is synonymous with customer care, application expertise and high-quality, reliable products for every market we serve, from broadcast and entertainment to data networking, industrial networks, security applications and home automation.Our goal is to build on this foundation by bringing a whole new array of signal transmission solutions and services to our global customers.”
