West Chester, Pa.
– Azione Unlimited (AU), a new buying group for custom retailers and
integrators formed by Richard Glikes, will begin accepting dealer applications
for limited membership positions on Dec. 5.
The group is set
to officially launch on Jan. 2, 2012.
Incentives include
free regional meetings for dealers and vendors, including complimentary lodging
and meals, and
for members.
Glikes, the former
executive director of the Home Technology Specialists of America buying group
(HTSA), said AU will segment the country into four regions and conduct the
first of the series of conferences in April.
“In keeping with
our goals it is requisite that we join together to share ideas, promote
execution excellence, cultivate interaction, and as a byproduct become a
cohesive entity,” he said. “The unique part of this offer is that it is free.”
Glikes said the
goals of AU are to:
