Anaheim,
Calif. – The AVB/Brand Source
buying group has appointed six new members to its 2010 board of directors.
The new additions include Tom Keil, Mark Krueger, Brad Cole,
Jeff Tracy, Terry Alvord and Dennis Jeffrey. The six join a 22-member board
that “allows the group to benefit from a diversity of experience,” Brand Source
said.
In addition to the newly seated directors, new board
officers include:

Skip Ignaczak, Duggan’s Service & Appliance, chairman;
- Andy Kersey, Hamlin
& Kersey Home Center, vice chairman; -
Mark Pardini, Pardini
Appliance, secretary; and -
Jeff Zeglin, Zeglin’s Home TV & Appliance, treasurer.
In a statement, Brand Source CEO Bob Lawrence said, “I would
like to thank each of these gentlemen for their willingness to serve and look
forward to working with them over the next year. If not for the
dedication and support of the entire board we could not provide the services we
do.”
AVB/Brand Source is a member-owned and -managed organization
for independent dealers that provides buying and merchandising services for more
than 4,500 retailers representing some 7,500 storefronts across the country.
