Autonomic Server Adds Amazon Cloud Drive

Armonk, N.Y. – A second-quarter
firmware update planned by

Autonomic
Controls

will connect the company’s

Mirage
Media Servers

to

Amazon’s
Cloud Drive service

.

The servers are already compatible
with the MP3 Tunes music-locker service, which backs up locally stored music in
the clouds for remote access from smartphones, PCs and game consoles.

The servers also stream music from
such online services as Pandora, TuneIn Radio (RadioTime), and SiriusXM
Internet Radio.

With the planned addition of Amazon
Cloud Drive service, songs added to a Mirage Media Server for local storage
would be automatically uploaded to the Amazon Cloud Drive. From there, consumers
could synchronize the songs to any other Mirage Media Server that they own.
Users can also stream or download the music to PCs and Android smartphones. Music
purchased from Amazon.com will instantly be available for playback on all of a
user’s Mirage Media Servers from the Amazon Cloud Drive.
