Seattle – Home and car audio
supplier AudioControl hired industry veteran Jay Small as national sales
manager for car audio as part of a plan to get more aggressive in car audio.
The company is “creating an
aggressive growth plan to support our regional rep teams to grow our
performance in the months and years ahead,” said Chris Kane, AudioControl’s head
of sales.
Small has worked for such 12-volt
aftermarket companies as Rockford Fosgate and Clarion and held regional and
national key accounts positions. He also operated a rep company in the Midwest and
was one of the first people to get Master Installer accreditation from the
Mobile Electronics Certification Program (MECP), the company said.
