Audio Show Ready To Open

Jacksonville, Fla. –

Audio Expo North America

(AXPONA) signed up
143 exhibitors so far for its first AXPONA high-end audio show and expects
attendance at the March 5-7 event to reach about 3,000.

The company also announced plans for a follow-up show in March
2011.

Though the three-day show is targeted to consumers, AXPONA 2010
will set aside a limited number of hours exclusively for the trade and media.
The trade-only period is on Friday, March 5, from 8 a.m. –
1 p.m. The show will be held here at the Wyndham Hotel.

The 2011 venue hasn’t been set, but the organizer said it will be
in the Southeast and in early March, geographically complementing the Rocky
Mountain Audio Fest, held in Denver every year.

Companies exhibiting at this year’s AXPONA include Audio Plus,
Cardas, Goldenote, Krell, McIntosh, Straightwire, Thiel, VAC, and Wadia,
AXPONA’s web site shows.

AXPONA, a new company, is organizing the event. One of its
principals, Steve Davis, is owner of Palmetto Audio, a high-end audio store in Ormond
Beach, Fla.
