Wheat Ridge, Colo. — ARC Wireless Solutions introduced the Freedom antenna, an all-in-one product that is designed to extend the range of cellphones and reduce dropped calls. The company hails it as the first portable personal antenna with broadband capability.
The Freedom antenna is compatible with all major wireless carriers and technologies, said ARC in a release, including the top 10 selling cellphones sold in the United States — along with 200 other cellphone models. It is part of the company’s product lineup that will include new antennas, more adapters to increase compatibility with additional cellphones and wireless devices, and additional features for the Freedom antenna.
The product is scheduled to begin shipping in the first quarter of 2007 for suggested retail of $34.95. It includes the new antenna design, stand, suction cups for window mounting and adapter cables.
