Seattle – Amazon today
introduced the Kindle Cloud Reader allowing users to read their Kindle books
directly on a computer browser.
The Cloud Reader gives
full access to a customer’s Kindle account and does not require the downloading
of any software. The Cloud Reader automatically syncs with the person’s library,
bringing them to the last page read, as well as bookmarks, notes and highlights
in all the included books.
There is also an embedded
Kindle store and Amazon has created a new iPad Kindle store customized for the
iPad’s touchscreen interface.
The Kindle Cloud Reader will work on
Safari, Safari on iPad and Chrome
