Alpine Taps New Distributor For RV OEM

8/01/2011 03:28:02 PM Eastern

Torrance, Calif. - Alpine Electronics has tapped a new
distributor to target the OEM RV (recreational vehicle) market.

Elkhart, Ind.-based Mito will supply select CD-receivers and
AVN (audio/video/navigation) on an OEM basis to RV manufacturers, replacing a
previous distributor. In hiring a new distributor, "we chose Mito Corp. because
they are a well-rounded company with the ability to introduce Alpine products
to OEM customers across the various markets that they serve," a spokesperson
told TWICE.

The Alpine products will be offered as
standard and optional equipment.

Mito sales VP
Dan Maloney said RV suppliers are increasingly demanding quality audio and A/V
systems. "With our customers' increased demands for quality, we feel that
the Alpine products will be a great fit for many years to come," he said.
