Detroit – Alpine expanded its OEM
relationship with Chrysler under a new multi-year contract.
Under the contract, Alpine has
already begun supplying
for the 2011 Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler 300
and Dodge Charger, a spokesperson said. Alpine’s first system for Chrysler
appeared in the 2003 Dodge Viper, followed by the 2006 Dodge Dakota and 2009
Dodge Ram.
The new contract calls for Alpine to
supply premium sound systems for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles.
For the 2011 Dodge Durango, Dodge
Charger, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300, Alpine created 7.1-channel
surround sound systems.
