Almo’s Clark Retires; Halperin Takes Over

Philadelphia
– Bill Clark, sales senior VP for Almo‘s dealer division, has announced his
retirement, to be replaced by industry veteran Jack Halperin.

Halperin comes to Almo from New York metro-based retailer P.C. Richard
& Son. He previously held several senior-level sales management positions
during his 23 years at Sony Electronics where he spearheaded their online
direct business through SonyStyle.com.

In his new role Halperin will be responsible for all consumer
electronics and appliance dealer-based sales activities in

the United States
and will be based at Almo headquarters, here.

Warren Chaiken, Almo president and COO, remarked: “With over 25
years of sales and product experience in the CE industry, Jack will be an ideal
addition to the Almo team … as we continue to expand our operations.”

Clark announced he will be
retiring from Almo, effective July 31. He will continue with Almo as a
consultant through the end of 2009 to ensure a smooth transition.

“For the past five years, Bill has worked tirelessly on the
development of Almo’s dealer business,” stated Chaiken. “He and his management
team have helped Almo’s dealer business reach new levels. We are sorry to see
him retire, but we wish him a healthy, happy retirement.”
