Almo Adds Motorola, Jensen To Mobile Line

Philadelphia – Almo, which held its Expo for vendors and retailers here this week, announced it has revamped its mobile electronics line signing distribution partnerships with Jensen Mobile and Motorola.

With these two additions the distributor’s mobile electronics offerings now includes Pioneer, Audiovox, Jensen,

Garmin, Motorola, SPL and Farenheit.

“As the country’s largest distributor in this sector, we’ve seen notable change in the car A/V market as traditional car audio has transitioned to connected vehicle entertainment and communication systems,” said Warren Chaiken, Almo president/COO.

“To ensure the health of our dealers and the 12-volt channel, we’ve recharged our product offering and are pleased to welcome industry-leaders Jensen and Motorola to the Almo family of brands. With this new product lineup, Almo dealers can reach out to new customers byadding new product categories that meet the needs of today’s connected traveler,” Chaiken said.

Jensen Mobile offers mobile multimedia systems. in-dash solutions that can handle Bluetooth, iPod music, CDs, DVDs, MP3s or WMA files play through a 7 inch touch-screen-enabled display on the new VM9312HD Multimedia System. Jensen Mobile also includes CD head units, speakers, subwoofers, AMPS and navigation systems for any vehicle.

Motorola’s MOTONAV TN30 is a Bluetooth enabled, portable GPS navigation system that combines finding destinations with a speaker for hands-free cell phone connectivity on the road.

Almo will be carrying Motorola’s GPS products and Bluetooth headsets for their 12-volt dealers as well as wired and wireless stereo headphones, portable iPod/MP3 speaker systems and a selection of accessories for their consumer electronic dealers.
