Ridgefield Park, N.J. - Agfa announced the dates for its annual cross-country trek to promote its photofinishing equipment, including its new digital mini-lab and the e-box digital photo print kiosk, to retailers.
The Agfa Digital Equipment Show will kick off in New York in May and travel to several major cities across the country until September.
The shows will offer hands-on demonstrations of the new d-lab.2 digital minilab, as well as the Agfa e-box kiosk, the Agfa Pixtasy workstation, and AGFAnet Print Service. The touch-screen d-lab.2 is designed to produce prints from traditional film and various digital media at a clip of 1,200 prints per hour (4 x 6-inch format).
In addition to all common color negative film formats and mounted 35mm slides, the d-lab.2 can also directly processes image data stored on a CD-ROM, ZIP disk, floppy disk, PCMCIA card, SmartMedia card, CompactFlash card, Memory Stick or IBM's MicroDrive.
The initial schedule includes: New York, N.Y. - May 14-16; Boston, Mass. - May 21-23; Washington, D.C. - June 4-6; Los Angeles, Calif. - June 4-6; Seattle, Wash - June 11-13; Columbus, Ohio - June 11-13; Miami, FL - June 18-20; San Francisco, CA - September 10-12; Chicago, Ill. - September 17-19; Minneapolis, Minn. - September 24-26.
