AEG Gathers 3D HD Coverage Of Concerts

Los Angeles –
Digital concert music aggregator AEG Network Live has teamed up with
Action 3D and promoters AEG Live and C3 to capture more than 75 hours of 3D
footage from top summer music festivals to develop the largest library of 3D
music concert content, the companies said Monday.

AEG Network Live and Action 3D said they plan to join digital
cinemas nationwide to deliver music cinema events in 3D for public viewing by
the end of this year.

AEG Network Live in association with Action 3D will capture and
deliver high-definition 3D content, as well as 2D content for television and
live Webcasting from music events including: the Austin City Limits Music
Festival, which also included mobile delivery; Lollapalooza in Chicago; All
Points West in New Jersey; and Mile High Music Festival in Denver, as well as
2D high-definition and live Webcasts for Virgin Mobile Free Festival and
Rothbury Music Festival in Michigan.

AEG Network Live said the partnership is the only entertainment
producer to shoot in 3D with the new technology, while providing live Webcasts
via iClips.net to online partners including Hulu.com and AOL/Bebo.

Action 3D’s production technology, enabled capturing footage with
a single production unit for all multiple distribution points.

The production team delivered concert coverage to Hulu.com,
AOL/Bebo, iclips.net and other sites as a live Webcast.

In Addition, AEG Network Live also partnered with GoTV Networks
to deliver content via mobile handsets to millions of consumers worldwide.

The same content can also be seen on HDTV networks including
Fuse, Palladia and HDNET, in addition to online PPV streaming of archived
content at www.iclips.net.

“The combination of the new 3D technology and our strategic
partnership with Action 3D have made it possible for AEG Network Live to create
a new business model that allows us to shoot 3D concert performances for a wide
range of artists and venues,” stated John Rubey, AEG Network Live president.
“The new model will not just benefit artists, labels and the entire production
team, but will allow AEG Network Live to deliver more music cinema events and
featured entertainment directly to the consumer.”

Artists and labels can choose to use the 3D footage for DVD and
promotional purposes without having to pay any additional out-of-pocket costs,
the companies said.

AEG Network Live is currently in the process of creating feature
length 3D events for movie theaters and will roll out 3D features from single
artists and festival highlights in participating cinemas this fall and in 2010
under the banner “inconcert 3D.”
