ADI Presents ‘Skills Challenge’ At CEDIA Booth

Indianapolis – Security and low-
voltage products distributor ADI is challenging CEDIA Expo attendees to a
“Skills Challenge” competition here this week.

Located in booth 4766, the ADI
Skills Challenge invites dealers to compete in a number of timed challenges to
test their expertise in connectivity, cabling, wire installation and cable
management. Attendees will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent and
gain hands-on experience “in an exciting atmosphere” featuring products by Arlington
Industries, Belden, BES, DYMO, Honeywell and Platinum Tools, the company said.

ADI is also offering an interactive
CEDIA Passport Sweepstakes program to encourage dealers to visit all of the
solution stations within the its newly redesigned, two-story main booth at 1327.
Attendees who visit all ADI solutions stations along with three of the six
skills challenges can return their passport to ADI booth 1337 to enter the
sweepstakes. Winners will be drawn from completed passports at 4:30 p.m. on
Sept. 8 and 9. Prizes will be awarded daily from Monster, Omnimount, KEF,
Proficient, URC and Denon, along with the daily grand prize of a Mitsubishi
46-inch LED HDTV.

In addition, ADI dealers are invited
to enter to win a brand-new Mustang Shelby GT500 through ADI’s Customer Appreciation
Car Give Away Sweepstakes. Entries are collected at all U.S. ADI Expos and
major industry tradeshows.

Elsewhere at CEDIA, ADI and its
manufacturer partners will host the company’s sixth annual customer appreciation
event on Friday, Sept. 9, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. The event, which will
feature food, beverages and musical entertainment, is open to ADI customers
only, and a limited number of tickets will be distributed at ADI’s booth 1327.

ADI said it is using the CEDIA forum
to highlight growth opportunities and feature some of the latest technology
available in residential and commercial A/V, security and IP. Some of the
products on display at its main booth include the Wi3 WiPNET MoCA technology
home network, Viewsonic 52-inch ePoster, RowOne 92-inch fixed screen with
Monster 3D glasses, and a Honeywell LYNX Touch wireless security system with
Total Connect 2.0. Visitors will also have a chance to learn more about new
retrofit opportunities, and check out ADI’s 3D home-theater environment.

“At this year’s show, dealers will have an
opportunity to access live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies in A/V,
IP and security that can dramatically expand their market share,” said sales VP
John Sullivan. “We are excited to present interactive displays to introduce
dealers to new business opportunities and let them know ADI is focused in
supporting their business growth. We hope attendees enjoy the ADI activities
taking place throughout the show.”
