Acer Introduces K330 Projector

San Jose, Calif. – Acer America introduced Monday the K330 LED-lamp-based video projector, offering 500 ANSI lumens of brightness.

Acer said the projector, which carries a $419 suggested retail,
“marries portability with excellent image output.” It weighs in at less than 3
pounds, and provides an HD-ready 1,280 by 800 (just over WXGA level)
resolution.

The LED lamp system produces up to 500 ANSI lumens of brightness
and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio.

Image accuracy is assured with improved color saturation (60
percent to 130 percent NTSC) and Acer ColorSafe II technology.

The Acer K330 is said to project high-quality images in natural,
deep colors for presentations and data, as well as movies and photos.

For customer presentations, the Acer K330’s Presentations to Go
function lets users connect an SD card reader or USB 2.0 port to access and display
high-quality videos, audio, and office files and presentations.

“Consumers and businesses who want a highly capable and portable
projector will be pleased with the new Acer K330,” stated Chris White, Acer
America product marketing senior director. “The Acer K330’s combination of
bright LED projection, portable size and many usability features allows
customers to be flexible and use it in a wide range of environments to show off
colorful, crisp presentations, movies, photos and more.”

The K330 is positioned for consumers as well as businesses and
educational institutions that need an advanced and easily portable projector.

The unit weighs 2.73 pounds and measures 8.6 inches wide by 6.6 inches
in diameter by 1.8 inches high.

The LED lamp system is rated at a 20,000-hour approximate life
span. The LED light turns on and off instantly and uses less power.

For movie viewing, the K330 supports 24p frame rates and can
project an image ranging in size from 30 to 100 inches diagonally from 2.5 to
8.3 feet away.

Connectivity ports include HDMI, analog RGB/component video (D-sub)
and composite video/audio (4-pin mini jack).

The K330 can project 3D content hen paired with a computer
supporting 120Hz output and 3D software along with 3D glasses.

The Acer EcoProjection power-management system reduces standby
power consumption by up to 70 percent to only 1 watt per hour.

It delivers 20 percent additional power savings if it does not
receive a signal input after five minutes. An included tool enables customized
power-saving configurations.

The Acer K330 projector is backed with a one-year warranty.
