Apple CEO Steve
Jobs admitted that "demand continues to exceed supply," and he said the
company is "working hard" to remedy the situation.
figures also include sales of the Wi-Fi + 3G version, which went on sale late
Friday, a spokesman told TWICE. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster estimated
300,000 iPad 3Gs were sold to consumers over the weekend, including preorders
and online sales. Models were available in Apple stores and Best Buy stores.
Apple has said it
