Vernon, Calif. - Naxa Electronics, a supplier of audio, video and accessories, will ship its first in-dash car A/V units to offer motorized screens, including a low-priced model with 7-inch screen at a suggested retail of $299.

The single-DIN NX690 AM/FM/DVD with 7-inch, motorized LCD color touchscreen also includes an SD card slot and NaxaUSB port, and it displays song and artist information from an iPod.

It is joined by similar models with respective 5-inch, 4.3-inch and 4-inch screens: the NX689 at $249, the NX687 at $219 and the NX685 at $199.  All models are due in stores this month, except the NX687, which will arrive in August, the company said.
