St. Paul, Minn. - Sanus has launched a new website to better educate the market about its audio/video mounts, furnishings and consumer electronics accessories.
The completely redesigned website is intended to be a one-stop resource center to make sure every dealer, installer or DIY consumer can find any information they need for whichever A/V setups they are faced with, the company said.
New features include an improved MountFinder interface and HeightFinder selection and installation tool that scans a database of more than 20,000 TVs and mounting solutions to find the best mount and the exact height for any installation.
A new user login allows consumers to keep track of all previous purchases, be alerted to new accessories that work with their already owned products, complete product registrations and share information with other users. Each product has a buy button that will show nearby retailers, e-partner websites and offer the option to purchase the product online, directly from Sanus.
The site recognizes if the user is browsing on a PC, tablet or smartphone and adjusts its interface accordingly.
The company is also now offering the Sanus Install Tool Kit app that provides videos and product comparison tools to help find and install the optimum mount setup for any environment.
A dealer-specific information portal was added to allow secure online ordering, sales and product literature and other merchandising items to help them make a sale. The website includes comprehensive product information, high-end photography, reviews, educational videos, literature, training tutorials and merchandizing options to assist dealers.
The site also adds a social networking link to the company's Twitter feed, Facebook and Pinterest pages and will soon offer a new project site and "spaces" blog that will bring together design and industry experts and do-it-yourselfers.
