Maytag Services, the repair arm of major appliance manufacturer Maytag, said it has expanded its scope to include in-home service of all other major appliance brands.

In the past, the service division supported only the Maytag Appliances business and company brands. With today's announcement, the new company plans to support all major brands in select markets, including a new agreement with Samsung Electronics America.

The deal authorizes Maytag Services as a service center for warranty and out-of-warranty service on Samsung appliances.
