Santa Clara, Calif. - Magellan says its Premium car kit is now compatible with the iPhone 4.

The three-in-one car kit features a built-in GPS receiver that improves navigation accuracy and works with any GPS nav app, Magellan said. Along with the iPhon4 4, it is compatible with the iPHone 3G and 3G S and the iPod Touch 2G. The receiver is necessary for use with iPod Touches as the Touch lacks a GPS receiver.

The car kit is able to rotate the iPhone or Touch to either portrait or landscape mode. Other features include Bluetooth, a noise-canceling microphone, and an amplified speaker for announcing turn-by-turn directions.

It is currently available for $129.
