Lexar Media has signed a partnership with video game publisher Ubisoft to offer a PC game loaded onto select USB Lexar JumpDrives.

Starting today through June 15, select 1GB and 2GB Lexar JumpDrives will be preloaded with a single game-level of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory PC game. The drives will also be loaded with specially created PC game content and a promotion for a free Splinter Cell t-shirt with the purchase of another Lexar product.

Theresa Boldrini, retail marketing director, Lexar, positioned the partnership as part of the company's effort “to build [a] retail presence in the software specialty and gaming channels.” Lexar will complement the game launch with in-store promos and new JumpDrive packaging.
