Apple said iLife and iWork come free with every new Mac. iLife enables creating videos with iMovie; creating or learning to play music on piano or guitar with GarageBand; and organizing, editing and sharing images with iPhoto.

iWork productivity apps, Pages, Numbers and Keynote allow for editing and sharing documents, spreadsheets and presentations, and iWork for iCloud beta allows creating a document on iPhone or iPad, editing it on a Mac and sharing it with friends, even if they are on a PC.

The new MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro with Retina Display models are now today at the Apple Online Store, Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers.
