CEDIA Expo Indianapolis - Kordz is at CEDIA Expo to unveil its new flagship custom-install optimized HDMI cable, Lux by JKP.

The newest addition to the company's fourth-generation flat-cable platform is endorsed by Joseph Kane, founder of Joe Kane Productions (JKP) and Digital Video Essentials.

The cable boasts solid copper conductors throughout as well as silver-plated primary TMDS wires. The result is a cord with 12 percent silver volume that is precision auto-terminated to silver-plated solid phosphorus copper pins for tip-to-tip consistency of the digital signal path, the company said. The die-cast HDMI ground shell is plated in palladium nickel alloy for a hard, lustrous finish supporting more than 4 pounds of connector extraction force for a secure fit, Kordz said. 

Kane said he was attracted to the brand because of "holistic efforts made by Kordz to maximize interoperability and the ultimate user experience."

Lux is length-limited to ensure High Speed with Ethernet compliance, with 100 percent passive purity in all available lengths to 10 meters, the company said.
