LG Studio Range Wins Design Awards

LG’s Nate Berkus-inspired Studio slide-in gas range has copped two separate design awards.

The model LSSG3016ST Studio range received gold awards from Appliance Design magazine, a publication for OEM design engineers, and the A’Design Awards, an international design competition.

Appliance Design cited the product’s “outstanding achievement in product innovation, design and functionality,” while A’Design’s jury of educators, media, designers and industry experts based their decision on excellence and innovation in design and functionality.

Berkus, a celebrated interior designer, advised LG on the design of the range, as reflected in its pro-style, flat-design control panel with heavy-duty metal knobs, a tilted display with touchscreen controls and a sleek wave-like handle.

Said David VanderWaal, marketing VP, LG Electronics USA, “We’re honored to have received gold-level recognition in both of these competitions, acknowledging our LG Studio range for excellence in both form and function.”
