Wayne, N.J. - JVC Americas has named Fred Zecha to the newly created position of consumer A/V group business development, special markets director.
Zecha will work with all JVC consumer A/V group product divisions to develop new distribution channels for current products and build distribution for new product categories. He is also responsible for developing JVC's special markets sales.

Zecha reports to Craig Geiger, JVC Americas executive VP and COO.

Previously, Zecha was JVC Americas accessory division general manager. That division will now be headed by Joe Palmieri, who has been named A/V accessory division national manager. Palmieri had been marketing manager, digital imaging, East Coast region.
