Orlando, Fla. - Jabra used the CTIA Wireless show, held here this week, to announce its latest speakerphone, the Freeway.

The Freeway, which has a three-speaker system, is designed to be clipped to a car visor and automatically turn on when the car door is opened. Voice-control features include call answer, end, reject and redial, and the device is said to shut off once a call is ended or the destination is reached.

Other details include Voice Guidance, which communicates pairing instructions, battery level and connection status; caller ID, which announces the name or phone number of an incoming call; Virtual Surround Sound technology; and A2DP technology for playing music, listening to GPS directions, and connecting to more than two Bluetooth devices at the same time.

The Freeway will ship in May for a $129 suggested retail. A one-year subscription to Voice Assist, a voice controlled app, is included. The app enables users to call, send or respond to emails and text messages, or post to social-networking sites, using their voices.
