Iogear has set up a one-year fundraising initiative benefiting Susan G. Komen
for the Cure effort.
Iogear said it will
donate $1.00 for every specially marked SD/MicroSD/MMC card reader/writer sold
between Sept. 1, 2011, and Aug. 31, 2012, with a minimum guaranteed donation of
The card readers feature
a pink finish with the Komen "Running Ribbon" prominently displayed. The
company said it chose the product because "the price is low enough for almost
anyone to show support, and because so many devices rely on memory cards, it
has instant mass appeal."
