Pentax Offers 645D DSLR System Rebates

Denver — Pentax Ricoh Imaging Americas said Monday it is offering a limited-time consumer mail-in rebate program on its 645D medium-format system and Limited-series lenses, when purchased in a bundle with the K-5 IIs DSLR.

The rebate offers, valid March 11-31, range from $250 to $500.

Photographers who purchase a 645D camera body will receive a free D-FA 55mm lens and a  $500 Pentax Visa prepaid card on the purchase of the D-FA 25mm and HD 90mm lens when purchased at the same time as the body, for a total savings of up to $1,000.

Additionally, consumers who purchase the K-5IIs camera body will receive a $250 Pentax Visa prepaid card on the purchase of FA 31mm, 43mm and 77mm Limited-series lenses when purchased at the same time as the body, for a combined savings of up to $750.

“We are pleased to offer significant savings on our cameras and lenses in conjunction with the Wedding and Portrait Photographer International show,” said John Carlson, Pentax senior marketing manager. “Photographers can purchase the complete 645D system for significantly less than most other medium-format bodies, and the Limited lenses offered with the K-5IIs are some of the sharpest built for portrait photography.”

To receive the prepaid Visa card, consumers need to purchase a qualifying Pentax product during the March 11-31 period and mail in the completed rebate form, the original or copy of their receipt for the purchase(s), and the original UPC barcodes(s) from the package of each qualifying product.
