- Dallas Sight and Sound, a 26-year-old system designer and integrator, has
become the 60
th member of Home Technology Specialists of America
(HTSA), the specialty electronics buying group.
Dallas Sight and Sound is a
full-service electronics design, installation and integration company
specializing in high-end audio, video and control systems for businesses and
homes. The company, based here, was founded in 1984 by industry veteran David
Rogers, a founding member of CEDIA.
"Dallas Sight and Sound is the perfect fit for
our group," said, HTSA executive director Richard Glikes. "They deliver the high-quality
service that we expect from members, and David Rogers brings a unique
perspective on the world of custom installation that you can only garner from a
quarter century in the business."
Glikes said the company also has a great
reputation in the industry, and was recommended for membership by another HTSA
member and a vendor. "We're thrilled to welcome them to the group."

Dallas Sight and Sound is the second
Dallas-area HTSA member, joining Stereo East in that market.
HTSA has more than $450 million in
collective annual sales. Its 60 members, located in 37 states, design and
install high-end audio, video, automation, lighting and climate systems for an
up-market clientele. Members together have nearly 100 storefronts and more than
800 installers and 800 sales personnel in the field.
