New York — Hewlett-Packard and Systemax are including Intel’s new Core 2 Duo processors in select desktop lines.
HP is immediately making Core 2 Duo available in the Pavilion d4600y and m7680y configure-to-order series with plans to include the new processor in additional desktops in the coming weeks. Notebooks will come similarly equipped in the near future, the company reported.
Systemax customers can configure the company’s high-end Venture desktop systems to include the Core 2 Duo E6300, 6400 and 6700 processors.
Pricing for all models depends upon configuration.
