Zonoff Automation System Connects To Nest, Bose

Malvern, Pa. – Zonoff has integrated control of the Nest Learning Thermostat and Bose’s SoundTouch wireless multiroom-audio system into its DIY white-label home-control and automation platform.

Staples uses the platform for its Staples Connect home automation system.

“Zonoff is now officially integrated with the Works with Nest developer program and the official SoundTouch API from Bose to ensure continuous support of those devices across Zonoff’s home automation platform,” a spokesman said.

With the integration, the Nest and Bose products can be controlled from Zonoff’s mobile-device app, which also controls such home-automation products as lights switches and dimmers, motorized shades, lamp modules, thermostats, door locks and other home automation products.

“Nest and Bose make some of the most popular consumer electronic devices, so we wanted to make sure that users of our platform are able to take advantage of those devices within Zonoff-powered systems,” said Zonoff CEO Mike Harris. “In order for home automation to reach a more mainstream audience, the technology must be easy to use and compatible with devices consumers love.”

Through the Nest and Bose integrations “and other ones we have in the works, we are helping to drive larger adoption, providing consumers with a single location to seamlessly control all of their devices,” he said.
